Yes! Everyone wants their suggestion to be seen so badly! I'd find it cool, however, if there was a site which would organise suggestions and focus the ST's attention on them, cutting down on the clutter.

though this was long ago, back in ‘16 and ’17, I was part of many shops, and the forum itself wasn't actually that bad.

I might support it if it would be “You can't bump until on the second page and it has been __ hours” changing on the forum. Such as show and tell might be 48 hours (exaggeration, but there should be limiting) or suggestions 12 or 18 hours. Or in the new scratchers… well I don't know no one bumps there.

But then there is help with scripts and questions about scratch, which I definitely think I could support it on. People can wait a day to get answers for a project or something.

But then there are also special languages, such as spanish, dutch, and other ones. How would the bumping rule apply there, because you can post whatever you want there in that language (usually questions though)

Yes. Advertising on Show and Tell is only worth it for a couple of days. I think it's just “Advertise. Have nobody look at it. Wait a while. Oh, now you're on the 10th page after a day. Too bad.” at this point. Requests is a nightmare too. So many shops with too many rules and codewords and things to read.

Anyways, semi-support. I really like this idea since certain sections are more busy than others. If this is added I will support.

Semi-support. Due to the quarantine, something on the Show and Tell forums ,if you're unlucky, can be on the 2nd in 10 minutes. But maybe it should be implemented once society returns to normal?

Support. People always bump their topics every time it gets on the 2nd page and it gets really annoying at times, especially in the Show and Tell and Requests forum

This is a good idea- however, as a shop owner on the requests forum, I had some doubts about it since other stores are always so busy and seem to overtake my growing shop quickly. But, that also makes me realize that many of those shop owners overtake our shop because they bump it whenever they go off the first page. Although, I do not know how bumping before 24 hours has passed would be prevented, since many people use banners to bump topics or say bump differently somehow. Having this rule put in place would also make it easier to have topics resolved faster, since there aren't a bunch of topics that have been bumped to the top of the forum that are in the way. Conclusively, I still support this idea- it could really give more topics the chance to be seen and resolved more quickly. I think this would be a wonderful addition that gives each active topic a chance to be answered and get attention.
