I don't think you have to respond as the activity check had ended when you joined the shop. I'm not sure though so maybe a BOD member should confirm.

Suggestion

I am proposing the following suggestion to our shop:

Front page suggestions. I'm thinking of making the first post of the thread into a short welcome, and a giant navigation pane, and then include “back to front page” hyperlinked images on the subposts, that relocate a customer back to the front page, to navigate to a different post. We could then pluck some content out of the other pages (BoD election stuff, voting info, activity check info, excuse/leave info, customer service and stuff like the BoD form and leave form), and group all of it together into a new page titled “Information for Staff”. We could do a similar thing with the order form and customer service centre, and bring it into an “Information for Customers” page. The staff application form can then be moved to the same page as the staff list, compacting the front page again. The partnership form can then migrate to the partners page, making the forms page redundant. The forms page can then be deleted and turned into an About/History page, where the about section, shop history, past topic links, FAQ and reviews can be moved to. This decision will severely compact the front page, and reduce the amount of pages.

I disagree, one of the things I really hate seeing when I go to a shop's front page is a big wall of identical banners, and having to scroll a whole bunch to access anything useful. I'd much rather keep this part the way it is, but I don't disagree with a welcome and short explanation of shops.

This could work, but I sort of like the way we can quickly navigate, I think lumping things together doesn't always help, but I think we should make it more clear that customers don't need to read the terms, or look at the activity check info and so on. Maybe we could colour code the links (although then everyone would have to change the BBcode…)

Well, we have spare reserved posts anyway I think, I don't see why we need to compact it; in my opinion it's more customer friendly to have more different posts to separate different content than to have less bigger posts.

TL;DR I disagree with a lot of this and have offered my suggestions, I guess I just have really different preferences to you

I used like 1 hour to make the topic and another hour to move everybody

Using they/them is good when you don't know people's pronouns, but I literally have a list of everyone's pronouns. I could easily put that on the front page.

I personally think it's a lot easier to navigate when we have the one navigation pane at the top of every post, I don't like having to go back to the first post of a forum to navigate. I think I'll keep the nav pane as-is.

I do like having separate “Information for Staff/Customers” pages, I might do that! There's definitely some information that I could put in an Infomation for Customers page, such as the existence of the UOC, a list of services we can do, etc. I can also convert “Other Info” Into “Information for Staff” easily.

I do like having the list of forms, but if I create “Information for Staff/Customers” pages, I might move the forms around as well.

We already have an “About” page (the first post) and a “History” page, and I don't think we need to combine them. The History page is long enough already, and I don't want to combine it with anything. I also want to keep the FAQ and Awards & Reviews pages separate from other things, because, again, they're long enough already. Also, I don't really see why we need to compact the front page so much.
