Add a "fast graphics" mode.
This would disable anti-aliasing, and other graphical effects. There would also be blocks to enable and or disable it, too. This it would be useful for in-game menus.
Also, the reason why I think graphics settings should exist, is so some projects can be run better on slow devices. Turbo mode can't be considered a “fast graphics” mode, because it just speeds up the project. Fast graphics would disable some rendering effects that can hog up resources.
set graphics mode to (fast v)
set graphics mode to (fancy v)

Fast graphics? I'm not sure I get it. Sounds like Turbo Mode. I'm probably wrong, though, so could you expand on that?

Oh. Support, because it could be useful on slow devices.

Support.
Please read the stickies before posting. I cannot stress enough on how significant this is.
My first suggestion is that you all give up on this whole support/no support convention, because it is not helping anything and ultimately downgrading the quality of replies across the forum.
Saying simply “support” or “no support” is adding nothing to the discussion, it is doing nothing to help improve the suggestion.
What should be happening, is someone makes a suggestion. People read this suggestion, and give their opinion on how to make it better. Build on other's ideas and more good quality suggestions will be made, rather than it being a big rush to see who can get the most supporters on their suggestion.
People are obsessing over this whole idea, and the goal has turned to getting as many supporters as possible and not paying any attention to the suggestion itself.
Also, please read the Community Guidelines before posting.
Be constructive.
When commenting on others' projects, say something you like about it and offer suggestions.
Please, edify the suggestion. Say what you like about it, or how it can be improved.

Do you really need that much space for what can be said as “Please be constructive and say why you support”? 90% copy and paste
I don't think simply disabling anti-aliasing would significantly improve performance.
What else would the fast graphics do?

Letting the others know that this is against the stickies/Community Guidelines could let other Scratchers know better than to not do it next time. Last time I included only “This is against the stickies and Community Guidelines”, I was asked twice why it was. That's why I'm being specific.
EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it, I added an even more specific post about how this broke not ONLY the sticky mentioned above, but 3 stickies…so I guess I made it better. Besides, a short post like that wouldn't be very constructive itself, as it wouldn't explain why not to say “support” or “no support”.
Also, yes, the fast graphics mode could be useful in certain projects (can't find links to) where it would be easier to have fast graphics than to just make it turbo mode.

Ok, fine, but you really only need the second sentence from the sticky quote.Do you really need that much space for what can be said as “Please be constructive and say why you support”? 90% copy and paste

I don't know what other effects will be disabled specifically, but I do know that one of those effects would be anti-aliasing.Ok, fine, but you really only need the second sentence from the sticky quote.Do you really need that much space for what can be said as “Please be constructive and say why you support”? 90% copy and paste

maybe if this was kinda like turbo mode instead of a scratch block. where you shift+click to do turbo, shift+click again to go to fast graphics, and shift+click a third time to go back to normal

It would compile all the graphics related scripts (stamping, pen draw, clones changing every frame) and run the result.

Then it's easier to just compile the whole project, which is what Forkphorus does. It would compile all the graphics related scripts (stamping, pen draw, clones changing every frame) and run the result.

I would also like a set command rate to (x) button where the commands set of forever to repeat really quickly so that you can have a really high FPS when playing.

This can already be made in the more blocks section. This would disable anti-aliasing, and other graphical effects. There would also be blocks to enable and or disable it, too. This it would be useful for in-game menus.set graphics mode to (fast v)

Pretty sure the graphics are already as fast as they can be, unless you want the fast mode to sacrifice some features like increasing the stage resolution based on how big it is on the screen (which would make it blurry or low resolution in fullscreen mode and retina displays) and touching blocks?

I've noticed lately that you've been a tad disrespectful to members of this forum, and have been a bit unfriendly to newcomers.
Please follow the community guidelines, and be more friendly and respectful on the forums.
You can find a link to the community guidelines at the bottom of every page.

Let's all make the scratch forums a more friendly and welcoming place!
