Stop the automatic banner from banning people from mass-reporting alerts
^^^^ as per above Maybe instead of auto-banning a person, a project with a lot of reports should just have be blocked saying something like “Multiple users have reported this project - it may contain content that violates the community guidelines. It is blocked until the Scratch Team can review it.” Or maybe the project wouldn't be blocked, just have a warning, saying “Are you still sure you want to visit this project?”
I think its important for some projects to be auto-blocked with too many reports because Scratch is supposed to be as safe as possible. If projects are blocked when reported multiple times, there is a good chance that the project might violate the community guidelines.

I support. This is one of the reasons I am terrified of this site's moderation. When a project gets mass reported I think it is a good idea to have a warning that it was mass reported recently. Does this mass report thing happen to the ST too? Would the site shut down if the entire ST was banned by this bot system? Mass reported material should be put on the speedline for review instead of the current system.
This should also apply to auto mutes as well.

OH GOD YES
I haven't experienced this issue before, and not to be rude, but I hate the annoying robot that auto-bans people's mechanical guts.
Anyways, SUPPORT!

Personally I don't think a user should be immediately banned from being mass reported. If something is being mass reported, there's likely a reason it's being reported, although occasionally there are users just mass-reporting stuff because they don't like it. I think instead that maybe a moderator should go check it out instead, maybe even limit/ban the user if they keep mass-reporting stuff.

Generally, I'd agree. However, to be safe, the content should be censored and the user temporarily banned for investigation purposes when massreported to ensure safety for everyone in times of ST inactivity. Why should the user be banned instead of just being put into a state similar to before an account is verified?Generally, I'd agree. Stop the automatic banner from banning people from mass-reporting alerts
I was recently automatically banned from scratch for this reason, one of my projects was mass-reported.
It was only for an hour and a half, but it still is a concern, in case it happens again.
I give my support to this suggestion.

I Support. Mass-reporting is a big problem in the Scratch society, and being banned just because people who don't have the same opinion as you report one of your random projects to show you that they are right is extremely unfair, even if it is just for a few minutes, because that will leave a blemish on your record thanks to the mass-reporters.

Just a reminder that when bringing up an old topic, it's best to add something to it as well. Support

Support, especially @TheMonsterOfTheDeep's idea of the little pop-up. It would also help if the ST had a way to sort through reports by most reported as well as most recently (I'm not actually sure if this actually is a feature), so these mass shutdowns could be quickly dealt with.
