The Simpsons is still good, it's just that the old episodes were amazing compared to them.

The Simpsons is still good, it's just that the old episodes were amazing compared to them.
It's like if there's a cake company who once made the most delicious cakes in the world, but now just make regular cakes. The cakes still taste good, but they aren't as good as the cakes before.

The first 9 seasons or so are great, especially seasons 4-7 and the treehouse of horror episodes. After those seasons I felt like it dropped down to just being okay, and I dont bother watching anything from the HD years (2009 and onward). I dont hate the newer seasons, but I find them too boring nowadays.

I love The Simpsons! My favorite episodes are Deep Space Homer, King-Size Homer, and Treehouse of Horror V. My favorite characters are:
Maggie,
Sideshow Bob,
Mr. Burns.

Never actually watched The Simpsons before, but I do watch Futurama.Have you heard the theory that Futurama is The Simpsons in the future? The only Futurama I ever watched was Simpsorama, the Simpsons/Futurama crossover.

Um, maybe they got mutated from the power plant, because if it happened to the fish and birds it can happen to the people, and it would make sense for Bender to be Homer, as Homer did get a robot body in one (future) episode after dying multiple times and getting cloned.That has no sense because Futurama characters have regular skin.Never actually watched The Simpsons before, but I do watch Futurama.Have you heard the theory that Futurama is The Simpsons in the future? When Do You Think it started to go downhill?The Principal and The Pauper. I can imagine the board meeting. Guy 1: Ok, we're running out of ideas, what should we do? Guy 2: Erase a character's whole backstory to entertain the viewers! Guy 3: Uh, I don't think that's a good idea. Guy 1: Be quiet, it's the best idea ever, whose backstory should we erase?
