A bit of a general question but can anyone give me any hints/tips or links to relevant projects about how to use vectors within Scratch 2?

When you make a new custom, you are in bitmap-mode.
Klick on convert into vector-graphik (lower right corner). now you can use vectors
The tools will appear on the right side of the editor.
