Actually it just might be because of internet connection.
Have you tried reloading the page, or restarting your computer?
Is it your account you're trying to follow?
If so, we can start a form about that.
I see our fellow Scratchers do it ALL the time

Another way to fix this is your browser. But I don't think this would have anything to do with not seeing your follow button.

I'm pretty sure there is no limit. and you shouldn't need to worry because if there's a limit you can always delete certain studios. The only problem is thAT the more studios you have, the more messages you get.
