Dear members of the Shop Partnership Association,

You may or not have noticed that I created a new shop named “The Scratch Ultimate Coding Shop” recently. It is also a member of this wonderful organization, and I do not post here but check in whenever I get a notification.

Now, you may have noticed that certain shops, currencies, and even organizations like these involve bad grammar jokes and some funny meme discussions that are actually not supposed to be there. Even if you create new rules, people do not stick with the new ways and then rebel that they prefer the old ones. And now, recently, you have all created the huge NSNP event and help new shops. I personally do not want any major help from this event, but the reason why I am spending so much time on this post is because I have a question.

How are you all being so professional and continuously staying focused on what is currently going on?

Workers always jump to different topics, since most of Scratch has been influenced by intuitions in MBTI. I even created a separate off-topic studio, and everyone follows the rules in the shop discussion thread but sometimes they forget their punctuation and forget single quote signs. Many times, I also joined in with the crowd being affected by group psychology and started being weird. In things like the Chair of Republic, you just have to use bad grammar — but that is something else. The CoR is meant to be a funny studio like that.

If you could please just be kind on me for spending this much time and give me tips on how to improvise on this matter, it would be brilliant.

The Purple Shop is no longer something I want to do, so I'm leaving it. I offered ownership of The Purple Shop to the only worker, so I'm waiting for her response. If she doesn't want it though, is it okay if I use it for the NSNP since it already has banners and BBcode? I think I will create another shop soon, but with a different focus because the main reason I'm leaving the Purple Shop is I don't want to do that art and animation anymore. I have other interests that I would prefer to create a shop with. Until then, I'll sign up as a non shop member.
How you will help us: I'm already helping with the NSNP.

Hey there! I think that the reason we stay so on-topic is because we don't try to be overly professional and stiff. Although we are an organization and have serious discussions we also are a group of shop owners and have fun in the process! I personally think that off-topic discussions are fine, as long as they aren't spam, are meaningful, and make way for actual topics. Anyways, most of us just want to help out and I think the fact that this group is bursting with ideas to help out shops is really what keeps us running so efficiently! Obviously, without a drive, we would be a hot mess. So I'd say you should just try to keep stimulating your employees with work and trainings!

I’d say that a lot of it comes from the psychological factor of ‘nobody else is being offtopic and I don’t want to be the one to start it’. In addition to that, we always have a clear goal that we’re working towards which means that instead together being offtopic we have something ontopic to do.

I’ve been looking at your progress with the NSNP and the shop designs look amazing… we could probably fully start up the NSNP so that the shops that you have designed start getting used very soon (I’d say less that’s less than 2 weeks away)

The word “trainings” caught my eye. That is what we need. I am thinking of implementing training sessions in the future.

By the way, I see. The NSNP are making you guys look like professional workers, but after it ends people will have the reveal (correct me if I am horribly mistaken).

Lol that must’ve been confusing for you… just to clarify, we are actually pretty much never offtopic usually, we have lots of members but as long as we have something to do (for example, when we updated the laws a few months ago) we always stay ontopic. The closest we’ve come to ‘offtopic’ I’d say is that during the SN arguments but people backlashes against the offtopicness very quickly.
