Ability to "Heart" someone's comment
So I was thinking of my notifications that I receive every day, whether they be comments, studio activity, new followers, etc. I noticed that there are many comments that people may receive that say something simple, such as “Hi!” or “Your art is great!” or “I like (random feature) about (project)!”. They're nice complements, don't get me wrong, but sometimes, a Scratcher may be a bit too busy to respond to these comments. I was thinking that it would be helpful if the owner of a project/profile could leave a “heart” on someone's comment to let them know that although they can't reply, they still care. Sometimes I am not able to respond to others' comments because i have better things to do, and it makes me feel like “If I don't reply, they might think that I don't care or that I'm being rude.” I don't want to make people feel bad, so i think it would be a bit helpful to others if project owners had the ability to give a ‘heart’ to a comment.
I also acknowledge that there may be some downsides to this suggestions, so I'll try and list the possible downsides.
1) Extra Notifications
Of course, getting a notification saying that someone Heart-ed your comment may be a bit annoying. However, this is also why I suggest that only the owner of the project or profile can Heart a comment, because it would be really annoying if anybody could just drop a Heart, which could lead to one comment getting a ton of Hearts and therefore causing spam to the commenter.
2) Possible Negativity
Some might think that Scratchers could be potentially rude to commenters by deciding not to leave a Heart on their comment. if this is the case, then maybe instead of having a “Heart” button, there could be a “Mark as read” button instead. By seeing that a comment was marked as read, it would let the commenter know that they were noticed, and since it isn't a “Heart” it wouldn't necessarily be a positive nor negative way to let someone know that their comment was noticed.
Please give your feedback on this idea! I'm open to any constructive criticism and opinions :3

Note: this is different then this suggestion. That suggestion is for having people like comments, like in Reddit or Youtube. I checked for dupes but couldn't find any, but correct me if it is.
My suggestion is to have people (only the owners of a project/profile) be able to heart someone's comment, like in YT to let the person know they saw it, but couldn't respond for whatever reason. It isn't for popularity, its just simply to know if they saw it, or really liked it. The heart can only be given by the creator. IDK what else to say shhshheidsk bye
edit: ONLY ONE PERSON CAN HEART YOUR COMMENT: THE OWNER OF THE PROJECT

Loved (everyone can see this)

Unloved (only creator can see this)

Would be helpful because owners could love what they endorsed - although from what I've seen owners on youtube heart everything.

Support. I like both ideas, and think either one of them would be a great addition to Scratch.

I don't support this. Responding to a comment by hearting it without saying anything makes humanity more disconnected from each other. We should always respond to each other with words for the sake of keeping humanity healthy for as long as possible.

No offense.

Anyways, humanity has been growing more and more disconnected from each other since the creation of the internet and the kids learning to code on Scratch aren't going to make a difference to humanity altogether.

Correct, but that's because people don't know how to use the internet properly in my opinion. Welcome back to everyone's favorite game show that I forgot about, Dupe or Nupe! Here, contestants are shown a topic and have to tell me if they think that it is a dupe or not. We'll then give points to whoever is right. Contestants, here is your next topic: https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/discuss/topic/353621/
Now, I'll give you some clues to think about to help you answer. The topic has only two posts, one of which is a mistake. The topic has a much longer OP. The topic is older than this one. When you're finished, respond to this post with your answer.

I don't know! We'll have to wait until a Scratch Team member closes it or not! Is it a dupe?

Support. Liking comments show agreement and collaboration to a comment topic, but I advise for no aad disliking comments.
