I like the new Scratch, but when I try to right-click in Scratch 2.0, I get this annoying flash-menu appearing, so I can't see the real right-click menu.

That is a known bug that will be fixed in the next update. It happens to me on Firefox, but not in Chrome. You can still access the right-click menu in Firefox using Shift+click.

It would be nice if there was a

block

Great to see all the positive feedback. I wouldn't worry too much about performance issues as those will be resolved over time with more hardware.

I've been working in Scratch 2 for the past few weeks and find the workflow much improved over 1.4. Being able to access projects from any location coupled with the instant “see inside” are extremely exciting features and will greatly improve collaboration.

My first impression was this: WOW. This is SUCH an improvement over 1.4, and it shows you guys spent a lot of time working on it. So I am impressed.

It also shows that it is definitely not ready for public release with all the bugs/glitches it has. This also makes me feel better about the delays this had before I got here - it needed the development time.

Overall, I am very impressed. Go Scratch 2.0!!! My first major 2.0 project is coming soon - stay tuned!

I like it! it's a little slow for me though. My internet?

Perhaps, but we have a lot of work to do to optimize everything, and there are some background processes still running on our servers that slow things down. Thanks for being patient!

I think it's very well setup and neat. I like the new style of the website and while I will miss the old website I don't care because this one looks AWESOME!

Keep up with the good work and scratch on!

I also really like the ‘see inside’ option. It helps you understand the project without the big fuss of downloading!

Also I love the Fact that you can update your profile means no more ‘Sorry I’m working on this or that' projects.
And Followers? Scratch 2.0 web is becoming more user friendly and accesable by the second!

I know this may be getting abit annoying that i'm commenting all the time, but I'm descovering new things every 10 mins!

Anyways I am also a fan of the ‘make blocks’ option, or as I call it, ‘Abreviation blocks’

The Create a Project is great, although it made my Shockwave Flash freeze when I wanted to add one of my projects, but the new ideas incorporated into the Scratch site make it very user-friendly and accessible to all audiences.

My first impressions were WOW THIS IS AWESOME! But the feelings of awesomeness have died now since I can't create or view projects thanks to various bugs.

What are your first impressions?

I think the new Scratch is great, and looks very nice.
Everything seems organized to me, and the graphics are improved and look
quite well. Even with a few bugs.
I did get frustrated with the editor, though. (Granted there's a message saying it's not complete and there are some bugs) I personally like the original editor better so far, but once the full version is done, i'm sure it'll be great.
Also, when I was editing, I saved my game when I was done, and went to “My Stuff” and I got an error, then next time I went on it was saved, but there was only about half of it.
Other than that, it's great, and I'm really excited for the whole version! Scratch On!

What are your first impressions?

* What were your initial series of actions on the prototype?
Porbably playing around with Cloud Variables And Lists.
* What did you find confusing or frustrating?
The fact that I had to go into the “My Stuff” page in order to delete projects I made in the online editor, and the Piant Editor's placement.
* What features did you like?
The whole website, and program, they both look very sleek and professional.

The new layout makes no sense to me. It was hard to find things. The paint editor makes no sense. I don't really like this that much.
