This topic is to discuss Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2017). Please don't say this game is pay-to-win garbage, it's actually (maybe) good now.


The Gamescom CT was pretty nice huh? Clone Commandos look insane. Felucia looks cool too.

On PC Hackers are everywhere, people accuse good players of hacking bc they're good, and the game is buggy as all heck.
On Xbox there's aim drift and the game is buggy as all heck.
On PS4 the game is buggy as all heck.

Also the matchmaking's really bad, so…..

EA and loot boxes are the scums of the world.
Imagine micro-transactions, but after you spend the money, you only have a 1/10 chance of receiving the item. It's gambling disguised as a video game.

It's not anymore. It's way better than at launch. Here's a list of things that's good about the game.

1. No more loot boxes. They've been removed in favor of just buying everything with credits, which you get from playing and daily crates.

2. No more crafting parts. Crafting parts sucked. The system was dropped in favor of a skill points system. You can still use your crafting parts to buy skill points for better star cards.

3. Tons of new content. Since launch Dice have added 4 new heroes (General Grievous, Count Dooku, Obi-wan Kenobi, and Anakin Skywalker), 1 new map (Geinosis), two new game modes (Ewok Hunt and Capitol Supremacy), and two new reinforcements. (Arc troopers and BX commando droids.) It's no longer an unfinished game, it's a good game.

Well EA's removing DICE from all the major EA projects and bringing in Respawn to take over, so hopefully new games will get less buggy.
