Have you visited the Welcoming Committee studio lately? When New Scratchers join Scratch, one of the things we invite them to do is visit the Welcoming Committee studio, which includes helpful, welcoming projects and friendly Scratchers ready to greet them.

How can you help?

Say “hi”! Visit the Welcoming Committee studio and respond to comments from New Scratchers
If you see a question in the comments that you think you can help with, respond!
Help keep the Welcoming Committee safe for everyone by reporting any comments that might be disrespectful
If you’re a Scratcher who has been using Scratch for a while, consider creating a project for the Welcoming Committee studio. Read the description of the studio for more info.

By being friendly in the Welcoming Committee studio, you’ll help make Scratch a great place for newcomers. Plus, you might make some new friends – and discover new interests!

I'm Dragonmimic, and i've been using scratch for a while. If you are new to coding, you can use the tutorials option in the “New Project” page. Another great way to learn is by going to advanced projects and playing around with the numbers. See what happens when you remove a block? How about adding one?
