Re-add progress bar for loading
In Scratch 2.0, there was a progress bar that would appear whenever you opened a project. That was useful, because it gave you an idea of how much time you would have to spend waiting. 3.0 didn't add that back, but I really think it should.
The current loading animation doesn't give you any information on your project's loading state, and I'm pretty sure the text at the bottom is just for show.
What do you think?

The text at the bottom is definitely for show, I would like it if they replaced that with a small loading bar under the new animation

Support! It was also useful because it would show the number of assets, so then you could see how big the project was.

Exactly! There have been many times when I would just stand there waiting for the project to load forever, without any information of how long it would stay like that. Support! It was also useful because it would show the number of assets, so then you could see how big the project was.

Support. Why was it even removed in the first place? Nobody even suggested for it to be removed.

It wasn't exactly removed. It just wasn't added. Maybe they forgot about it early on in 3.0 and didn't care enough to add it back in. Support. Why was it even removed in the first place? Nobody even suggested for it to be removed.

Re-add progress bar for loading
Support, proper loading bars are very useful, plus it helps me to keep my attention focused on the project.

Support! It's really helpful to see how much it still needs to load. I also agree with Wahsp:

The ST should consider adding this feature back. The text at the bottom is definitely for show, I would like it if they replaced that with a small loading bar under the new animation

I think it would be cool if the loading bar looked like the current loading blocks.

Scratch 3.0 already has functionality for this; the Scratch VM Benchmark has an assets loaded thing. They probably just don't have a design for the loading bar yet or something.

I support!
I think it is useful because you know how long until it is done loading, because sometimes there are projects that you don't know if they are big or small, so you don't know how long it will take.

especially for larger projects this would be very useful
I don't get why they didn't add this in 3.0
