THIS IS NOT A DUPLICATE. THIS SUGGESTION HAS MOVED FROM THIS TOPIC.

The topic has moved here because the discussion was getting a bit messy. Let's start this topic clean here.

Wouldn't it be better if the Scratch Team members and Scratchers' usernames were highlighted?

Here's a mockup of how the highlighting of Scratch Team members would work(mockup from @Sheep_Maker):

This highlighting also applies to creators of topics and comments, except it would be green or another color.

Here's a mockup(created in MS Paint) of how the highlighting would look like in a project's comments:

I'm the creator of the project, so my username is highlighted.

Support, it could keep things somewhat less confusing and I can see it deterring some impersonators as well.

The discussion was getting messed up, and also the suggestion in your topic was a duplicate, so I pretty much made this suggestion a duplicate of the original, which is closed, which means that this is not a duplicate.

Support, as it would help to understand who is the ST.

I don't understand what this means. Does it mean highlight the person who started the comment chain? Highlight the creators of scratch? Highlight the username at the top of a comment always? You barely describe anything in your post.

Highlight the username of whoever created the project/topic, like what YouTube does when someone comments on their own video.

There's a mockup for this suggestion, I think that you might need to read this suggestion more carefully, including the mockup.

I did, I don't understand.
The reason I'm confused is because the mockup doesn't highlight “the creators of a certain topic/comment.” The creator in the mockup is spookybilly, but they aren't highlighted. Instead, the scratch team member is highlighted. So I thought maybe you meant “creator” as in “scratch team member” but I wasn't sure so I asked. I think other people may be confused by this too so you may want to edit your post to explain in more detail.

Making all of the highlighting blue would be confusing, like what if I created a project and a Scratch Team member commented on it?

Support, but I don't think green is a good colour, it doesn't fit scratch's theme- maybe orange? Anyway, this feature would be nice as it would make it much easier to spot the OP or project creator when discussing things. Also, maybe there should be a version of this for studios to show curators and managers?
