I had 3 suggestion topics that I had bumped 30 times in total and it barely got any supports/no supports. This topic might as well go down the same way as my topics.

I want this. I really want this. I give this full 110% support. The discuss button would be back and the search bar could be so large. Though it appears that the ST doesn't really respond to suggestions unless it is to reject or close them. There is a very very low chance of this happening no matter how much it would benefit Scratch. I bet two love its the ST hasn't even looked at this suggestion yet.

Have I supported this yet? Also, the search bar has plenty room on the 2.0 layout which has smaller text like the editor has smaller blocks…

It is a nice idea but the reason it got removed because in my opinion the ST want to limit the people using forums. Also for a parent a discuss button may drive them away.

I added a rebuttal to that supposed reason.
I say supposed because I've also heard in this discussion that the reason for that button being removed is because it had the least amount of clicks.

If you had looked at the official post announcements post, you would have known that the button not getting the clicks was the actual reason for it being removed.
