Scratch Block Libraries

Block Libraries are sections of blocks in one category, similar to how adding extensions works.

Whenever you define a block, sometimes, the block is very useful and commonly used, like this block:

switch costume to [previous costume v]::custom

What if you can make your own block libraries?
Your Block Libraries would be in the “More Blocks” category.
For example:
Gliding Blocks
glide to [Sprite1 v] in a [zigzag v] pattern::custom

glide to edge::custom
The definitions of the blocks would be saved in a Scratch server.
You could also backpack libraries by selecting the library(the whole library would be in a box), then dragging them to your backpack.

No support, just use extensions, which is supported in 3.0

Extensions are written in JavaScript, not Scratch blocks, which means most Scratchers can't make their own libraries. Also, they won't be able to understand the code behind extensions.

Not properly. What LuckyLucky7 is suggesting is a way to group blocks, while the other one is suggesting a way to export and import define blocks in a file, though they are kinda similar (sorry if I misunderstood something!).
________
Support! If you have a lot of custom blocks, it takes a lot of times to find the block you're searching for.

Yes, that is what I am suggesting.

Support. I think it would be great if they had an import library from url button. The librarys should get stored in the my-stuff page and get made like a project without the stage.

Scratch Block Libraries

Support, this could be very useful. It would also make it easier to import custom blocks that are linked to each other without them messing up and displaying “undefined” because of having a block that doesn't exist yet.

YES! I want this too! I always find that when I make games, I use the same code over and over! I would love a place to save my old combinations and custom blocks!

Scratch Block Libraries

Support. On essentially every project I make I use my
define Split (str) into letters
set [letter# v] to (1)
repeat (length of (str))
add (letter (letter#) of (str)) to [letters v]
change [letter# v] by (1)
custom block, so I would use this a lot!
