Export projects
Can we make a feature were you can export projects to your other account like you're moving accounts and you can export all if it if the right password of the account is entered.
Ok, Lets just say that you had 100+ projects in your stuff and your moving so it's inconvenient to download them to your computer so instead you can use the export feature and select which projects you want to export then type in the user you want to export the projects to then an email will be sent to the email used with the account then go to it then click confirm then it will take you to a page asking you to enter the correct password of your account then it will export the projects to the account you wanted them the user will need to enter the password of the account that requested for the export then if the correct password is entered then the projects will copy and the copys will transfer.
Also well the transfer is processing, it plays a little movie about the transfer so you don't get bored If it takes long.
If you don't support but have had internet or have a full hard drive then you could support this instead so you don't have to wait so long for them to download

Probably something to do with the username No support, you can just download the project to your computer. Why do you support? Support!!!!!

I actually like this suggestion! If you have a lot of projects, downloading and uploading them could be very inconvenient.

Not what I meant, I meant that it's annoying that we kind of have to do things ourselves. She ment that you can code it again, and it'll be annoying
But hey, that's how life works.
Read my first post
I read your first post. What did I say that was off-topic? And that's kinda off-topic
And here are some simple workarounds:
- Download all of your projects to the computer, then upload them to the Scratch Website
- Backpack all of the backdrop scripts and sprites
- Remix
- Re-code everything so you have something to do
- Plonk all of your projects in a studio, then put your new account's projects into there too, and then name that studio “(insert username/nickname here)'s projects”
- Link to your old account in your “About Me” or “What i'm Working on”, this is a technique that takes the least amount of time, a lot of people who have moved have used it, and people will still click the link and view your projects on your old account (just as long as you don't delete the account), And if you do want to delete your account, you can leave this link in your “About Me/What I'm Working On” instead: https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/user/xxx/projects
Like I said before, it's annoying that we have to code our own Scratch projects in the first place. It's annoying that we have to cook meat to make it edible. It's annoying that we have to take medicine to get rid of our headaches. It's annoying that we have to type scratch.mit.edu into our search bar to access this website. Well it's annoying that I have to do so
I could go on forever.
Reasons why I don't support: No support.
- Long List of Workarounds
- If this isn't implemented, it will give the backpack and offline editor a bit of love
- Not hacker-safe–a hacker could make a new account, find out your password, then transfer your months of hard work (especially if you can transfer unshared projects) and take all of the credit for it. This is what I'm most concerned about because you have almost no way to prove to the community that you originally created the project. This will cause bullying, drama, hate, and more disregard to the Community Guidelines, which in turn, creates more work for the moderators. Could you please find a way to prevent this in your suggestion?
