Well it was fun while it lasted! As others have mentioned though, I'd like the option to still be there in the language dropdown just for fun.

It would be fun, as people have said, to keep the ‘Meow!’ language as an easter egg. Maybe it could be selected by right-clicking the ‘Scratch’ logo in the upper left?
