Please state why you support. The word does tell the topic creator that you like this idea and that you want it to happened, but a reason would make it more constructive than just a single word, and helps and adds to the topic.
I understand, but they don't have to state why. Saying, “support” means that they want it to be added and they like the idea. The word support can add to the topic…
They don't have to state why, maybe they want to keep their reason to themselves…?
But I've seem many posts in a topic saying just “Support”, and then a reply stating “please don't just say support”. According to these replies, the Scratch Team doesn't like it, and replies shouldn't just say “Support”, even if many users use it.
I can understand why, but we can say and do what we want without people stopping us (except for the filter.)

That's like saying that you can commit crimes and that you don't care if the cops don't want you to do it. -_-

That isn't the best saying for this situation…
Let's stop arguing, okay?

Just please stop making excuses, you heard what I said, saying just “Support”, “No Support”, or just “Semi-Support” won't help. Now let's stop this.

This is my last response, but it does help. Period. The only thing that doesn't help would be a blank/irrelevant response. Saying support means that I support the idea. I don't need reasoning, I don't need to add anything.

Let's use an example like Donald Trump's idea to build a wall across the border of Mexico. Many many people supported that idea, but did they go up to him and tell him why they supported it? Maybe, maybe not. Did they tell Trump what they wanted to add to his idea? No.

I am allowed to just say Support, Semi-Support, or No Support if I want to. It really doesn't matter. I don't get why it's a big deal. I can do this because one, there will be other people who add to this conversation; and two, saying support actually does add to the conversation! I don't get how “it doesn't”.

EDIT: Also can you clarify what you mean by “excuses”? I am genuinely confused as to what you are referring to…

-_- Just…stop…

Scratch Team does not want people saying simply “Support”, “Semi-Support”, or “No Support”, and even if most users use it all the time. It truthfully doesn't help because the user didn't explain it. Done. What part of “stop” do you not get?

I dont want to be reminded of bad things i did in the past. As it just makes me feel guilty and ashamed of my past self. Alerts are the reason i deleted my past accounts. Paddle2see said something like alerts should be something you should read but not some kind of bad thing that haunts you forever.
This is the reason why I don't support.

I know what stop means…
I want to know: I'm not making any excuses, what makes you think that?
I understand and respect the Scratch Team's decisions because they will have a benefit on some part of the community, but back to the point, someone should at least include a small reason on why they support/not support/ semi-support.
What am I supposed to stop? Making excuses? I'm not making any at all, so what should I stop then?

I'm just saying you shouldn't just be simply saying “Support”, “Semi-Support”, or “No Support”. Is it that difficult to understand?

No, I actually understand it all.
I just want the answer to this question: I'm not making any excuses, what makes you say that I am?

You guys, you're getting completely off-topic. If you really want to talk about it, talk on each other's profile.

Frankly, the only person who is having trouble understanding is you. At least I've tried to counter things you have said. You've just gone and stuck to the same sentence in each post.

And I'll try to fulfill @DisasterPug's request and stop responding to this argument lol. Sorry @M1mikyu.

EDIT: Wait wait wait, did I just read on that image, “The ST evaluates suggestions, not the amount of supporters it has”. Well in that case, perfect! I can say what I want to say about it since the ST doesn't care about the number of supporters it has!
