Support if the user gets to choose whether or not the online/offline thingy is shown. Some users might want their privacy.
I support Spud!

Have we already said why it was removed? Because I think I know. I can't find the actual quote, so I'm paraphrasing…
I think it was Paddle2See who said that, correct me if I'm wrong though. For that reason, it would be nice but no support …turns out the online indicator was slowing down the site considerably, and it only showed the first few people on the list anyway, so we decided to get rid of it

Support. I've really wondered why there isn't an indicator.

Full support,
But there IS an alternative to this: Making a makeshift online indicator in your About Me or What I Am Working On section of your profile, turn it on when you get on, turn it off when you are about to get off
OR get isonline

Support!
It requires the viewer of the profile to have it, and the owner of the profile to have it
But isOnline is the workaround to this

Support. Not every user has IsOnline. If it was a part of Scratch every user wouldn't have to download a extension.

I'd like to bump this topic, as I think it deserves more attention.
An online indicator would be neat, but it should be disabled at first, and it could be enabled and re-disabled at any time.
isOnline is an obvious workaround to this, but many people likely don't trust isOnline as much as Scratch.
