Idea: 8/10 (You could add a bit more to the backstory- although I did see you were working on that)
Code: 7/10 (Given that it's in progress, I realize you might not have all the ‘kinks’ worked out yet, but everything will eventually need to run smoothly)
Graphics: There aren't many graphics to review in a text adventure… but the background does look nice. So 8/10
Audio: n/a
Overall: 33/40
Suggestions:
First, the scroll bar (on the list) does not show, so you can't read the whole backstory in the beginning. I can guess where it is, but it won't scroll past the top of where the second item (the backstory) starts. You may want to a) make the box bigger and/or b) put the story in multiple parts on the list.
Second, in the future you will want to write out all the important commands, or even have it so you can bring up a key in the project. I had to look inside because I couldn't figure out I needed to press space to move on.
Third, this is smaller, but I caught that when it asks your element, it does not give you a chance to answer.
I don't know what your plans are in terms of audio. I don't think it's really necessary, since it's a text adventure. Some people may find music and such distracting, but that part is up to you.
I think that's all I have to say at this point of the game. Good luck with the development!
