'Leave Studio' button

I support, I recently removed myself from a ton of studios, and it took forever.

There would need to be some conformation thing saying like “Are you sure you would like to leave ___”, becuase otherwise, people would accidentally click it all the time.

I really need this. I'm part of multiple how-many-Scratchers-can-we-get and AE studios.

Generally, I ignore requests from these studios now. (Offtopic)

Support! I was getting really annoyed by a studio's notifications and I spent at least 5 minutes scrolling down through the curator's list trying to find myself so I could remove myself. A “Leave Studio” button would make the process so much quicker - with just a tap of a button!

'Leave Studio' button

For Scratch's growing and expanding community, I would like to recommend something easier for people involved with studios. When going into My Stuff, and clicking on My Studios ( - - - ) it lists all of the studios you are involved in.

As you could already tell, there is the layout where it shows the amount of comments and projects inside of the studio, and if you own the studio, it will show ‘Delete’. Although this is already handy for the owner to simply close the studio with a simple click, I suggest another button for studios that you don't own that you're curating. This new button would be titled Leave or Leave Studio which exactly like the title itself states, it will remove you from the curator list of the studio. Although, I do recommend an attention or alert to the people of the studio before you leave so suddenly.

This would impact Scratchers who are in tons of studios that they would like to leave, and also some of them who just feel like they would like more control over what they're involved in or not. I also acknowledge the manual (X) button over your name in the curators section of the studio, but I prefer the ‘Leave Studio’ button over that one, as simply it would be more efficient plus, if there is too many curators to dig through.

Thank you for reading, have a great Easter and Scratch on!
I say yes for this one. Was once in a studio with over a hundred curators. Gosh it took long to find my name in order to leave it.

Here's a picture from the recently found duplicate that I had posted, just as a reference.

It took a while to find the link, but it turns out Inspect Element works for finding image links in the forums on closed topics.

So much support, maybe this would actually stop you from getting notifications from said studio? I get them even after I've left by pressing x on the curator list. It hurts me on the inside

Hmmmmm… Am I the only to feel that the only times ST takes a look at the suggestion forums it's just to close the duplicates topics ?…

Yes support! I find it annoying to have to search through pages of curators just to find myself and press a small x button!

Complete support! So many studios give me notifications and this would make it much easier. ST, please notice this forum!

Support, it would be useful because I have lots of studios and I barely join any anymore. There's also stuff like AE/IE studios I don't want to be in anymore.

Well, this would be a good idea. Maybe in my stuff there could be an option to leave a studio or unfollow it from there instead of traveling for ages through studio curators to find and delete yourself from it. Support!

Yes, there should be one. I'll add that to the OP.

Yeah, it's really inconvenient when you've lost interest in them.

Yeah, eliminating this pain is the aim of this suggestion.

Yes, of course.

Ah, nice. Thanks for the image and concept, I'll add it to the original post (any idea on who was the original creator of that image - or did you create it?)

I don't really mini-mod, and this doesn't really trigger me. Clever, though! (I did have to change this.)

Um, this is a bit irrelevant, but I think that the ST also considers a few, just not speaking about it until they've finally came through with deciding if it's needed or not.

In other words, I think they do look at suggestions, but don't respond publicly.

May I bump ? Ooops, too late :p

@Austinato, I could write pages about why I do support this, but I think anyone already responded…

Also, I think a bit of support from the ST would be more encouraging to the community…
