Confirming "Share"
Support.
After you share something, people could view it with phosphorus even if you un-share it, so it would be a useful feature if you shared on accident and didn't want anyone to see your project yet.
Well you could just unshare it right away.
+0.500000001 support.

I know this is an old thread and hasn't had much activity for a while, but I think I have some stuff to add:
(I 100% support this idea btw)
As you can tell from the message when you share a project, the ST wants to encourage sharing projects.
For new scratchers however, when they share their first project, a confirm dialog could be scary, since we usually associate them with dangerous actions like deleting files.
This might make new scratchers think twice about sharing their project (which the ST doesn't want)
So, that is why the ST may not add this feature.
However:
You mentioned adding a setting to toggle the confirm box.
A solution therefore could be to have a default value of not showing the confirm box.
Unfortunately, I doubt the ST would add a setting for the feature - that would mean having to update the database layout and records and would also be not so easy to code.
Anyway:
If you follow scratch-flash on Github, you will be aware that Scratch 2 is no longer accepting feature requests.
This is because Scratch 3 is now under development.
So, although it is too late to get this feature added to Scratch 2, by raising it now we may be able to get it added to Scratch 3

Support, it's very smart.
And does the topic look too old for me?

No support. This would probably drive some Scratchers away from sharing their project because they think that an alert confirming sharing would mean that they are supposed to keep their projects unshared. Also, you could just unshare your project right away.

I agree. I was working on a project and I went to click save and accidentally shared it . I quickly unshared it. I think this is annoying because if you press the share button, it automatically shares your project, and it shows up in the activities when you go on someone's profile.

No support.
I don't see any problem with quickly unsharing a project, it takes about 3 seconds.

"awesome-llama shared the project Experimental1"
Then when the project gets shared, this notification will not appear as is already appeared before.
The problem with that is the shared project creates a new activity, saying No support.

100% support! I've accidentally shared projects before because my computer was slow and the mouse accidentally glitched and I clicked the share button.
It might get a little annoying because that'll pop up every time, but eventually you get used to it. Plus, it only takes like 1 second to click a button and it's better to have that than accidentally share a project you're still working on (unless, let's say it was a WIP)

I suggest changing the single-notification system instead of having a pop-up. Support! The problem with that is the shared project creates a new activity, saying No support.

Semi-support !
I really can be useful sometimes and certainly wouldn't be hard to add.

Full support! This happens to me all the time! Maybe also for unsharing, because I think it changes your project order when unsharing the re-sharing (I'm not sure though
)
