Swedish please? Can Scratch team translate to Swedish like it was in the other versions

BoltBait, though not a Scratch Team member, has explained the reason for this quite well here. Scratch 2.0 is still in early development, so many things could change. It's best to wait until it's done before contributing translations.

Often beta releases of software are in only one language (for example, on Google Apps, the “next generation” control panel is only available in English, while the “current” one is available in many languages). That's because they make a lot of changes, and changing all of the localization strings would be too difficult.

However, I can pretty much guarantee that there will be other languages (including Swedish) available to use.

The translation is already done (a beta-version), we are waiting to upload it. I don´t know if it´s going to be in the first Betarelease. Stay tuned…

Översättning är färdig, men det tar lite tid att få den in i Betaversionen. Vi får se när allt är färdigt att stoppas in. Så vi har inte glömt det.

When will the letters “Å”, “Ä” and “Ö” be translated in the project editor?

There is a serious translation bug in the Swedish translation: “ln” (natural logaritm, LN) is translated to “Inuti” (meaning ‘inside’ in English probably because it looks like ‘In’, iN). I and others have complained about this on the translation server but it's still not corrected. There are also other translation bugs which I have complained about. Who has the last say about a translation and who can update it?

Jag har upptäckt att användargränssnittet till editorn i Scratch 3.0 har en ny stor del, Debug, som skulle behöva översättas till svenska. Det fanns en grupp på Facebook om översättning av Scratch, men den är arkiverad.
