Why do you support? Just saying “Support” isn't adding anything to the discussion.

Oops I Forgot About that… the fact is that 6 fonts are not enough For Scratchers to use. As said by
and I agree. Just having 5 fonts is not enough.
Sooo much support. There's barely any fonts in the editor and this would be a great addition.

Support. Will probably happen because MIT is working with Google, so it's a small thing to request to make Scratch better.

Support! I think seeing 6 fonts is boring if you want to use the good fonts on Google.

To reduce loading time, projects could keep track of the fonts used in the entire project and only load the fonts used, like how Scratch 3.0 does with extensions now.
When saving a vector costume to local file, it should convert the text to a path so when it is opened in a different application, it doesn't use a fallback font

Yesss I need this •‿• I always have to go to Google Drawings and import them. Scratch needs more than 6 fonts as an option. It allows more uniqueness and creativity and seeing the same 6 fonts over and over is a bit tiring sometimes.
What do you mean import them? Into scratch?

Support. The current library of fonts in Scratch is just not enough. And seeing as most fonts on Google Fonts are free, this should not be much of a problem!
However, I would prefer the ability to be able to import your own fonts to Scratch 3.0, as this would be much easier for the Scratch Team fonts could be processed and added on-the-fly.

I Agree!
support. I cant see any drawbacks to this.
Please be constructive and explain why you guys support instead of just putting it out there.

Support - the current amount of fonts is excruciatingly limited. There's so much cool things you can do with other fonts (special alien text, RPG text, rolaplays, and collab improvements)!

No support whatsoever. Google's font CDNs (and virtually all other font CDNs) perform privacy-invading and immoral tracking and fingerprinting of users, instilling cross site cookies from response headers and fingerprinting via your already existing font list.
Scratch has a lot of young users and no font CDN (that I know of) complies with COPPA.
The day Scratch adds Google's Font CDN is the day I add a lot more URLs to my uBlock filters. I give Scratch a lot of leniency because the of how much off-site content is linked via the forums. I would hate to break user's content because the ST had the bold idea to add a dangerous (to privacy) font provider.

They could put a mirror on their own servers like for the Google Translate extension so that it not only avoids these privacy issues but also works in China (I don't think Google Fonts works in China) No support whatsoever. A workaround is to change your font on your browser's settings to the font you want and uncheck Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selection above (or whatever it is on your browser.)
Not sure if you can change your font on Chrome, (i'm using Firefox) but it probably is possible
