Stricter bans on games
Hey I come from the uk and as a film rating we have U (universal )instead of G. Because the UK is deemed very hard on innapropianteness that should be the guideline as it universal for all. Use the tag horror you find many gsmes which should be banned. I banned at least 7 but i can't do it on my own
I crossed out things which G might not like and I add the Pg (uk) rating for violence as we have an even big task.
If scratch doesn't accept it really does not welcome all ages
U's are meant for 4+ If you under 4 try scratch junior or just go srtaight to unity
Discrimination
Discriminatory language or behaviour is unlikely to be acceptable unless clearly disapproved of.
Drugs
References to illegal drugs or drug misuse must be infrequent and innocuous, or have a clear educational purpose or anti-drug message suitable for young children.
Imitable behaviour
Potentially dangerous or anti-social behaviour which young children may copy must be clearly disapproved of. No emphasis on realistic or easily accessible weapons.
Language
Infrequent use only of very mild bad language.
Nudity
Occasional nudity, with no sexual context.
actually no
*
Only very mild sexual behaviour (for example, kissing) and references to such behaviour.
Threat
Scary or potentially unsettling sequences should be mild, brief and unlikely to cause undue anxiety to young children. The outcome should be reassuring.
Violence
Violence will generally be very mild. Mild violence may be acceptable if it is justified by context (for example, comedic, animated, wholly unrealistic)
and/Violence will usually be mild. However there may be moderate violence, without detail, if justified by its context (for example, history, comedy or fantasy).

Support, but I think that we can just report those things as of now.

No Support.
And to consider kissing sexual is morally wrong. Kids see their parents kiss every day! Whether it be at the dinner table or a kiss good-bye. This world has become too soft.

I think the OP wants Scratch Team to create limits on content for projects.
Just report the projects you think are inappropriate. That way, the ST can get to the project immediately.
Also, in my opinion, kissing is okay as long as no French kissing is involved.

Stricter bans on games
“Stricter bans”? The bans only work when they are reported, and they are only as strict as what the users deem report-able (and whether ST agrees). Also, I think some terms on here are a bit strict, though I get it's a site with a lot of young kids. (And also a .edu site). The “FNAF and other games” part is pretty unfair and vauge. Is this all FNAF games or just specific ones? Is that because of the violence/blood? What if they don't include much? Also, “and other games” doesn't really tell anything.
I don't really understand this post. Why are some things crossed out and random marks everywhere? It's pretty hard to read or understand…

Just make sure you're not banning projects just because “it's a horror game”. Horror games are everywhere. Some are *actually* scary, some are not. Use the tag horror you find many gsmes which should be banned.
Well, that's too bad. Look, what if I just happened to be the dictator of a country I just made up right now, and I just happened to make a law that any images with the colour red in it is absolutely inappropriate (you know, because red = blood. If there is red in an image, it means somebody has died. ) and should be rated R18+. If Scratch applies my “reasonable” laws, every project with red in it would be banned. Hey I come from the uk and as a film rating we have U (universal )instead of G. Because the UK is deemed very hard on innapropianteness that should be the guideline as it universal for all…
…If scratch doesn't accept it really does not welcome all ages
…Or they could simply ignore my laws. My country doesn't equal the whole world. My country doesn't even represent a large fraction of the world. If my country is the only one with these laws, then the Scratch Team would gladly ignore my entire country. Oh well, they're going to have to add a fine print:
Projects appropriate for all ages!*
*Unless you live in Alberknyis's country. <——– And I mean, that would be absolutely horrendous.
When they say all ages, they mean generally, not mathematically.
Drugs part is kind of obvious. “Imitable behavior” section is a little strange. No anti-social behavior? I'm an anti social person. Should I be banned now? “Language” section is already applied. “Sexual behavior” section is also kind of strange. Not because of the post, but because I've actually never seen any project that breaks the rules in the sexual behavior section.
Yet.
Threat and violence are the two I've got a controversial opinion of. A few years ago, rules about violence in games were really strict. Suddenly, 21st century. I feel that Scratch should loosen itself with the rules about violence, mostly because I'm willing to bet a ton of us already play/have played violent games. And I think the Scratch team should loosen even more on “unsettling sequences” if it hasn't already. Surprise, shock, depression and anxiety are real feelings everyone has. Because it's Scratch, taking it to the extremes obviously shouldn't be allowed, but not having any at all, I feel, is kind of ridiculous.
If you've read the above paragraph, just keep in mind that's it's (obviously) extremely biased. And in conclusion, do I support or not support? Well, does the colour purple consist of red or blue?
