Add back the ability to seach for users and forums!
I used that a lot. It was most helpful, and I'm not sure why it was removed.
But I would like it back please!
People are told to search for existing topics before suggesting, but the can't do that anymore (If this is a duplicate that is why).

Support. A workaround for searching topics, go to web browser search bar, type:
site:scratch.mit.edu/discuss [searchterm]
site:scratch.mit.edu/discuss [searchterm]

It's "[searchterm] site: Support. A workaround for searching topics, go to web browser search bar, type: https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/discuss“ in Google not ”site:scratch.mit.edu/discuss [searchterm]" in any search engine.

The placement of the site: stuff and the actual query doesn't matter (why would it, anyone would've coded it so that it'd accept that) and it also works on Bing, Yahoo, and DuckDuckGo so it's probably a universal thingIt's "[searchterm] site: Support. The reason this works in other search engines is that the search engines search for the words “site, scratch, mit, edu, discuss”. But Google strictly searches in these websites. So it's more accurate. The placement of the site: stuff and the actual query doesn't matter (why would it, anyone would've coded it so that it'd accept that) and it also works on Bing, Yahoo, and DuckDuckGo so it's probably a universal thingIt's "[searchterm] site: Support. Nope; a colon after a single world is a universal sign of search options. If a site has advanced search options, it'd most likely have this format. Searching for stuff in your trash in your email, for example, might put this in your search bar:The reason this works in other search engines is that the search engines search for the words “site, scratch, mit, edu, discuss”. Add back the ability to seach for users and forums!
Hello
Recently, the ST changed the search feature, which was a welcome new feature.
That was until many of us realised what they removed. Now, Scratchers cannot search for forum topics, profiles or all of them at once. What is the purpose of this? Why remove a working system, only to replace it with a system that is less functional?
Please, support this topic for re-implementation of these features.

Support. However, the Scratch team just released it, so it is obvious that they are probably going to work on it later and fix it.

It has been 15 days since the search got the redesign, so either there's something different about searching for topics/users or they're adding more big features to search. Support. However, the Scratch team just released it, so it is obvious that they are probably going to work on it later and fix it.

Complete support. When I run into problems when making projects, it has become challenging to search the forums to see if there are any topics with advice.

Someone made a tampermonkey script a little while back to achieve just this. Give me a second to look for it.

No support, please suggest “add forum and users to the new search engine” instead Support! Without that I can't even search for forums and users

Support! I feel like now that we can't search for users or disscusion forums, it's harder to find things. What if you want to follow, say, @Minion108 and you need to find them on Scratch, now what do you do? And what do you do if you need help with a project or something?
