Notification when creating new account
While yeah, this idea does make sense, one has to remember that having such a message could discourage account creation in the first place, creating a “I'm signing up permanently” feeling rather than a “let's just check this out” feeling.
However, I do support, but I'd prefer a different wording: “the username cannot be changed” is very negative and subliminally connotes permanency, which scares many people off, perhaps:
Would be better?

Choose a username:
Make sure it's one you like, it's yours for as long as you're on Scratch!
Would be better?

I reworded it. Support, though I think the note should use “create” instead of “confirm” as it could be mistaken for email confirmation, suggesting that you can change your username after you create the account but before you confirm the email address. (unless that's an actual feature I didn't know of)

Support. Maybe the message could appear after the first time you focus on the input box, just to make it look nicer (i.e. when you click on the box to type your username, the message shows up). It might help people make the decision of signing up before they find out that they cannot change their username, since they already clicked it.thought that though. I also agree that
So support support so that people can stop suggesting to change their username

Support, it will stop these questions. They should add a changeable username feature, but then the @username thing would have to change. So, I dunno really?

“Your username cannot be changed after registration” That's how I would reword it. While yeah, this idea does make sense, one has to remember that having such a message could discourage account creation in the first place, creating a “I'm signing up permanently” feeling rather than a “let's just check this out” feeling.

First off, I believe that changing your username is rejected. Also, it would confuse people if you just changed your username. Support, it will stop these questions. They should add a changeable username feature, but then the @username thing would have to change. So, I dunno really?

I support, but I think “remember” should be substituted with “Please note”, as many new users likely haven't gone to the forums or acknowledged it previously.

Support. I'm sick of seeing;
Especially because 99.9% of the time the user just made their account. How do you already get bored of your username?
how i change my username??all over the forums.

Yes! I love this idea! I've moved accounts (No joke) 12 times because I didn't like my username.

It's rejected because of how confusing it would get and because the servers weren't built to handle it.First off, I believe that changing your username is rejected. Also, it would confuse people if you just changed your username. Support, it will stop these questions. They should add a changeable username feature, but then the @username thing would have to change. So, I dunno really?
