Is there any way to delete variables besides making a new project and carrying over all the scripts and the variables you want?

I think there is a way to do this, but only if you edit the code by downloading the project. But this is just an educated guess.

By right-clicking it in the palette.

Right-click the variable in the menu and select delete.
