So this is probably a duplicate, but I'd like to start a tread about wht the Account settings page will eventually contain.

I personally think that it should be full of customizations and preferences with the site. When logged on as a user, you could: (and these are just suggestions; not saying I'd change any of these off of the defaults, personally)

*Change the site's base colors; as in the floating navagation bar(which is awesome, by the way), the white background, and other stuff.
*Random preferences within Editor. Like whether you want your default editor to be Vector or Bitmap, or screen orientation(where things are left-right such as the project viewer, editor section for scripts, sounds, and costumes)
*Change notifications preferences. Let's say you don't want them to tell you when your project is loved or favorited.
*Change password/email, if you can't already do that on Profile Page.
*Turn Autosave on/off, as it can be either destructive or helpful.
*View special characters for “*” and “/” reporter math blocks. Let's say you want “*” to become “x” because it is less confusing.
*Front Page preferences- let's say you grow weary of “projects loved by Scratchers I'm following.”

Any other suggestions? Me and the ST will probably be glad to hear them.

I don't see a reason for why anyone would need to change the site's colors. If you don't like it, just ignore it. It's not like the colors will kill you, so just deal with it. Google doesn't offer a color changing option yet it's doing fine so color customization must not be that great.

I think Lightnin or cheddargirl also said that you would be able to change your language there, and also the default sprite.

Right. These are just suggestions. I just called for the color changes because some Scratchers said they would like it.

I've got one. Maybe we could change what shows up in “What's Happening?”, like the messages?

Well, there will probably be a delete account button.

Language change is in the creator, click globe next to file menu. However, They might have a site language change, not just an editor one.
EDIT: Site language change is at the bottom of any page (not forums or editor.)

Yeah, that's a good idea! I think it should go right under messages preferences.

That's what I meant.

Oh! Toggle between “message read” and “message deleted” message system! I want the deleted message system back…. when I get a bunch of messages I lose track of which ones I've already addressed.

Also, maybe a “safe scratch” mode, where for users who check a box, if a page has a curseword in the comments they can't view that page until that comment is flagged and deleted.

And I like the color change idea…but you should also be able to change to a design! Like how you can customize the window in firefox.

You should also be able to customize the order and contents of your homepage…Say I want projects from people I'm following b4 featured projects or I don't want featured galleries on my front page at all.

Also view who's following galleries! I wanted to send only followers updates about the gallery but couldn't.

That's already there. I support all of these suggestions, as long as other Scratchers suggested them before.
