Cloud List 2.0 for Scratch 2.0 (:
This sounds like a pretty serious glitch…perhaps you can narrow it down to a simpler case that still shows the problem?I've already done this before, but it was before the time when they said encoders were allowed. THEN, they allowed them again, but by that time, I'd already turned the list into a chatroom for myself, and I wouldn't be able to share it, so now everyone else is taking credit for it.
It just sucks because I can make the cloud list literally completely functional, but there's and EPIC glitch that scratch team has yet to fix. I don't know how to explain it but basically; cloud variables “expire” after prolonged use. What I mean by that is, when I first make the project (I've made two, so I know it's not my coding) it runs PERFECTLY. Case sensing, number sensing, underscores, dashes. Completely fine. But after about 20 minutes of adding data to the variables, they stop adding them properly, and some of the data gets deleted and the code slips up because of it. If that wasn't happening, I feel like my project would be very appreciated and admired….
I also have the same issue :'(, my project is an mmorpg i'm making. Ocassionally, the variables will become expired and fail to change in any aspect. For example, scrollPositions will have a 1450 digit number, when i try to append another digit, the number will change and immediately revert back to the old number. Another glitch is present as well, as i rename or delete the cloud variables, they will come back as the old names I deleted. If you take a look inside the project, only five cloud variables are used: state, npcPositions, usernameData, npcNames, positionData. However, 5 older ones appear and won't be deleted.

I'm not sure what that face is for. The list works now. Perfectly fine actually. You doubted me at first though, so I guess it's natural to be disappointed in yourself.
Anyway, as for everyone else about the glitch, I posted a work-around to the cloud variables' bugginess here
When you go to it, click on the orange link if you'd like to see the glitch that's happening. Everything else below the link is a decent work around, and I think you (Paddle2See) will gather valuable information towards squashing the bug if you go there.

bump! this thing is so cool! I want to see how far I can string the data without it bugging out (:
