When you report a user, you have to pick from one of the four choices that you feel break the Scratch Community Guidelines.
Username, Icon, About Me, or What I'm Working On.
Currently, there have been several impersonations of the user @(removed by moderator - please don't name specific Scratchers)
If their could be a choice that reports the user because of { Impersonating another user }
You can contact the Scratch Team, but sometimes, they may not have the time to respond.

In that case, click on “Username” because their username (and icon; if the icon is different that might just be an unknowning person) is too similar to griffpatch's.

It is not a mistake because they commented on @@(removed) profile that they were @(removed')s new account. But still they should make a choice for that.

I support an option for “Impersonation of (textbox to enter username)” for reporting a user. However, for now, I would just either report the username and/or use the contact us button.

I support for “Impersonation” as well as adding other reasons to report a user.

I also support because I get impersonated often so I feel like I'm spamming Contact Us

Much support. Someone I know was recently impersonated and they got banned for things the other person did. I didn't know what to report the impersonator for,, so support.

Support, when you report the username, it won't make it clear why your reporting, the current solution is using contact us, but that takes a long time

Contact Us doesn't generally take too long.

Also, to be honest if a Scratcher gets reported by a couple of different people their account gets taken down.

The ST may think they're false reports, or something, still it doesn't make it clear, if they don't know why the people are reporting, what will they say they banned the user for.

How long contact us takes, depends, once I got a reply in hours, and once no twice, hmm or was it trice I never got one

That's what happens to projects to make inappropriate projects get taken down as fast as possible. I can't imagine the same would happen to Scratchers since I'm sure it would make a LOT of people VERY mad that they lost their ENTIRE profile and ALL their projects because some trolls reported them.

How about we can write what is wrong with the username/wiwo/etc? So instead of just choosing one of them, we can choose one of them AND write a reason to make it more clear why we are reporting the user. This may also be useful with comments and, well, in general everything else.

I get this was a while ago, but I had this idea and was about to make a post when I found it was a dupe. I support this idea because recently, there have been a LOT of impersonating

I support! I made a topic and it got lots of support before finding out that it was a dupe.
