I'm just wondering, how often does the migration take place? In other words, how often does the snapshot of 1.4 get put the the 2.0 database to update it with everyone's latest project? Once every 3 months or somethin?

It does not happen, 2.0 will soon become the official Scratch version on scratch.mit.edu and will be the default site.

I know that, but in the beta, they would update it with everyone's latest projects. Will that still happen, or they won't update it anymore and just make the 2.0 site the official site?

um no there was only one upload of projects for beta all of your projects will be saved but if you have a project with the same name on the 1.4 site you should make back-ups
