I have to make an animation for a contest that my school is having but i dont know what to do it about,plz give me ideas

Are you making this in any sort of computer software, or is it like stop-motion animation?

Im doing this in Scratch,because the rules say that it has to be made in scratch

So like creating a short film using messages to alert other sprites to move?
The plot could really be anything.
Like:

• A mad scientist creating frankenstein
  Apocalypse
  A farmer growing crops
  

Really anything at all.

Yep, you're correct on the issue. Here are a few other possibilities:

• Your school is being attacked by Taco-zilla!
  
• An animation were in math class, you make a paper plane, and as you throw it, you somehow enter a day-dream, and you're riding the plane around the world. Then the bell rings, and you're back awake.
  
• A simple animation of you talking about your day. A bit boring, but it works.
  
• An animation where you're an undercover ninja, touring France.
  

And if you're the over-achiever:

• *merh* *Merh!* *Merh!*
  
  Waking up, you sleepily fall back on your bed, fighting the drowsiness of reality…
  
  *Merh!!* *Merh!!!* *MERH!*
  
  *tremble*
  
  You wake up, in your house above your beguiled book shop. You definitely need some coffee to get up, but you're trying to wean yourself on the addiction, so you slop out of bed, haphazardly put on cloth, and go to open your beloved store, the store you've owned since warming forever. Normally, you look out the front window to see the birds and freelancers chirp away, but today you decided not to for some hidden reason. Behind there, though, is a soft secret to impact your life…
  
  You walk down the echoing staircase, and the wooden windows are still closed. You open the cash register, check that everything's working well, and moan yourself to the front door to open your shop. Moments drag open. You open the heavy door, and their's a demolition team about to completely destroy your love!
  
  And it ends there. It's a cliff-ending, but you can expand to include a bit about how you saved your book shop.
