I know people have test accounts, but you only really need 1 test account.

If a user can't remember the password they used, then that's what the forgot password link is for.

Edit: You shoudn't be ban evading anyway. I know this one user that has gone through like 15 accounts because the previous ones kept getting banned for them being rude.
But what about siblings?
Even 2 siblings.
The siblings each have 1 test account, and one normal.
2+2=4
4>3
Therefore, that woudn't work

Why would you have all those accounts on one email? Couldn't the parent/the user create a new email address for each user (outlook, yahoo, Gmail(?))? It's not like they cost anything.

What if the parent doesn't want the kids to see theirs, and they only have one other

So, I know a guy that has like 5 scratch accounts on one email. And it's the same guy! He doesn't even use the other ones, and keeps on making more because he is to lazy to remember his password. I think there should be a limit on how many Scratch accounts allowed on one email, like maybe 3. Then siblings can join on one email, but there won't be fake accounts, well not as much, though.
That person you know is probably you, I mean how could you tell anyone else does!?

Anyways, no support as above listed ideas, it isn't fair to anyone and does not benefit the site very well.

There is siblings sharing an email. And they both have clone accounts. No support.

No More Than 3 Scratch accounts on one email.

No support, for 4 reasons:
1. Usually children only use their father/mother's email address, and their parents usually have only 1 email, as they should have. If there are more then 3 siblings, then some people would have to share an account, which would be not fair as they would not have the privacy that most people on Scratch have.
2. Many people want test accounts nowadays. There are reasons to set up test accounts, such as remixing your own projects. Lets say, there are two siblings, each wants a test account, and then they will need 4 accounts. That would be not enough then.
3. Multiple accounts are not causing problems. If your friend is lazy to remember his passwords, well its his loss because he loses all his projects in his accounts. The Scratch Community is not affected.
4. It would encourage underage kids to create email addresses. If you make that rule, then if a person was not happy sharing an account, then he would create an email address for himself. And what if that kid was underage? Then that would cause trouble.

Who said that the children would have access to the email address?

No support. I think they are right. ^ If you had two siblings it would work but what if you had three siblings and only one email, then somebody wouldn't get their own account. Also if you wanted a test account and your sister wanted a test account too and you shared your email account only one of you would be able to have a test account. I don't think there should be a limit.

What if five siblings wanted to join scratch, and their family only had 1 email? Only 3 of them could join.

People make accounts for no reason with usernames like: too, like, jjjjjj, tee, and never use them.

Unless there are more than 3 of them…

Anyway, no support. There is no rule against having multiple accounts, and most of them are not “fake accounts”.

As per this.
