I serve in building error messages when I am not working on my OS.
If…
-You would like an error message
First, the theme. Luna (Windows XP) or Classic (Windows 9x) (OSX theme is not yet supported)
Next, the title.
Then, the text.
Then, the buttons.
You may use up to 3.
Decide which can be clicked and which can't (greyed out).
Obviously, you should include what the buttons say.
Lastly, the icons.
Use common sense to see which are supported and which aren't.
-You want to know how the system works
If you want an image of an error message, you first fill out the form above. Within 48 hours, your message will come in the errors project on my account (NOT my old one, my new one) and you will be notified. You can then use the image of the error message. But make sure you give credit.

These aren't hand drawn or use the scratch paint tools. I use any online tool (I switch between them)
