I agree. This would make thigs much easier and (if I'm correct) make things lag a LOT less. This is kinda like making your own methods in more advanced programming languages…

Don't say that. There are people here who think that Scratch should be devoid of advanced capabilities (a.k.a. useful stuff) because it supposedly “may confuse new Scratchers”. I don't mean that I'm one of them, I'm just trying to keep those people from messing yet another thing up for everyone. But yes, it is.

This is not going to happen in Scratch 2.0. However, in a later minor release (like 2.1 or something), the ST said they will probably allow custom blocks to be booleans and reporters.
