Sorry, but I'd have to say no support. The ST is busy and though it might be nice to see those “Creepy Woods” return, it isn't worthwhile to dump some of the other sprites. Besides, if you REALLY needed to get an old sprite, just find an old project. If you want to preserve the new ones for future years, make a project dedicated to it. My opinion probably doesn't even matter.

Sorry, but I'd have to say no support. The ST is busy and though it might be nice to see those “Creepy Woods” return, it isn't worthwhile to dump some of the other sprites. Besides, if you REALLY needed to get an old sprite, just find an old project. If you want to preserve the new ones for future years, make a project dedicated to it. My opinion probably doesn't even matter.1: I'm pretty sure that scratchers prefer to find the sprites in the editor's library, not in an 1.4 project (imagine how many still exists)
2: Your “Time Capsule” idea is actually great ! I'm gonna make one.
3: Scratch could handle a few megabytes, so it will not harm anything.
4: I'm not sure why the ST's delete the backdrops and sprites.

We still can obtain the old version of the SC (scratch cat). 1: load the cat 2: change from vector to bitmap. But yes, I think some cat sprites of 1.4 I'd good
