I've been thinking that scratch could be utilized to make some sort of ecological design/restoration educational game. Maybe a game where the player must redesign a farm to be more ecologically friendly while still making money. It would basically be a systems design game. Construct a homestead using various options and get a carbon footprint output? There are all sorts of directions something like this could go. I think it could be a good tool for science/environmental educators.

One quasi example of this is a game that I remember playing online where you had to run the mcdonalds company and manage all aspects.

Any ideas?
