I had installed Scratch 2.0 on my desktop on Aug.28, but it cannot be updated - keeps getting error message
Later I tried to install Scratch on my notebook and had no success - I tried optional way, too.

for me it looks like something had happened with the installer after the first update on Aug.29

Yes, please try deleting the previous Scratch.app, and reinstall Scratch.air, OK?

First try on your desktop to delete Scratch.app and reinstall, and see if you can get that working.

It's possible your notebook isn't compatible with Adobe Air, depending what type of computer and operating system. We hope to have a Chrome app before too long, which may help.

Hi, I'm on a 64 bit Linux system and I would like to install the offline editor but can't. Will the editor ever be compatible with 64 bit? Thanks, doggydudet

Done for desktop - successfully uninstalled, and… got the same error message when tried to install again

I have been using scratch since at least 2005 with my classroom - elementary - 12th grade. Using the online version is a little erratic in a lab environment - not clear about saving and many files being created. I have recently switched to linux Trisquel 6.0 in my lab. I was hoping to install the offline editor, but I cannot get Adobe Air installed. I am disappointed by this as well as seeing you are using Adobe Air - will this mean you are abandoning linux as a platform as Adobe has?

Here is a fix I found for Air and gnome keyring. Scroll to the bottom.

So this seems to have fixed the issue… Installed and working.

I use offline editor alot and before the update I had never experianced any crashes or bugs! Thanks ST!!!

Sorry, an error has occurred.

The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author.

Maybe it's because of your PC. try using a different one. If it doesn't work, then there might be a problem with the installer.

I have the same problem. Maybe it is because I am using library Wi-Fi and it is slow. I hope my mum gets some more Internet soon.

i've got the update and the offline editor (i'm making a project with it right now!)

After the update I'm not able to import any experimental extension. I mean, the blocks described in the json file are there but the socket communication can't be established. On the other hand, this works fine for the online version.

I'm using the offline editor in a Mac OSX 10.8.4

Hi. I still have this bug where the installing bar (scratch editor) keeps growing longer even after it has reached the end of the installing… “notification” and keeps going on to the end of the screen
