I was just looking at Panther, and the "|color at pixel x: y: |" is really useful. Can Scratch 2.0 include this? It would make a TON of things a TON easier.

It's unlikely that it will be. As scratch is a “low floor” project, things need to be easy for newer scratchers to understand, and such a block, while making things easier for experienced users, would be difficult to understand if your new.
