I did a Punch-Out!! run:
(For all of these runs, I kept hitting ‘continue’ in order to give him a chance. It's more fun and tense that way.)
Glass Joe: Got it the first time.
Von Kaiser: Got it the second time.
Disco Kid: Got it the second time.
King Hippo: Got it the second time.
Piston Hondo: Got it the third time. (Asked me “Have you ever wanted to kiss your character?” Akinator, I don't see what you're getting at here.)
Bear Hugger: Got it the second time. (Asked me “Is your character MLG?” MLG Bear Hugger confirm.)
Great Tiger: Got it the first time.
Don Flamenco: Got it the second time. (Guessed Glass Joe the first time. Don Flamenco is Glass Joe's palette swap. Coincidence? I think so.)
Aran Ryan: Got it the first time.
Soda Popinski: Got it the second time. (Asked me “Does Your Character Love Llamas?” No comment, I just thought it was funny.)
Bald Bull: Got it the first time. (Asked me “Is your character a scientist?” I dunno. Maybe behind the scenes, Bald Bull is a scientist.)
Super Macho Man: Got it the third time. (Asked me “Did your character die a tragic death?” O_O)
Mr Sandman: Didn't get it. (I'm honestly surprised he didn't get it in comparison to the other boxers. Mr Sandman is a pretty prominent figure in Punch-Out!! IMO.)
Next time, I'll do boxers from Super Punch-Out!!

What I find surprising about akinator is how it's so good at guessing things. He knows so much popular and unpopular media and characters that it's very impressive. I was watching two youtubers (Dan and Phil) playing it and it guessed their sim character on the first try.

EDIT: I tried Pit's Body (isn't it technically a character, even though it's basically soulless Pit?), I beat him.

I found this website a few days ago and it can guess every character I think of! I even tried to think of unimportant characters but Akinator found all of them.

This somehow guessed the Stylist from Terraria. Oh my gosh.
And PBG.
AND THE FREAKING NICE CREAM MAN.
Somehow it magically guessed Eileen from RS without asking anything related.
AND UMBRELLA FROM SKULLGIRLS. WHAT.
And… uh… Marco Rubio?
And Chris Niosi himself.

It couldn't guess Amethyst from PKMNRanger's projects. Ha.
It also couldn't guess… er, Hoogi from Mixels.

I decided to have him try and guess Tony from EarthBound.

Sorry if this seems like I care too much, but that's not really “playing it correctly”. Though you can do that with no repercussions, the point is that you have to think of a character or person in particular and input answers for them. Then you can claim you made him fail at guessing without getting raised eyebrows thrown your way.
(Even the devs noticed this problem; one of the answers Akinator guesses is just that you're picking random responses.)
