1 August 2013 Updates
Nice updates! I'm excited that the offline version is coming even closer, but sadly I won't have it when I go for vacation (they have no wi-fi where I'm going). At least my friend was able to make an app off of the online version of Scratch, so I still will have access to Scratch.
By the way Paddle2See, will you be adding this as an announcement to the Scratch News?
With regards,
ErnieParke

I found part of the update unmentioned: now if you right click on a variable monitor, there is the hide option that wasn't there before.
Never mind, that's been there…

Hm… Odd. I can't make much from of it, but out of curiosity, are you by chance using Opera? Also, what project were you looking at? This might be useful:Invalid CSS property name: box-radius main.b99522bd8931.css:5

Thats a poorly developed system. Why not only download the fonts that are used? Every additional font adds on to the size of the file that must be downloaded to the browser when the project runs - so we have to be really careful not to let that get too large.

Presumably it HAS to download them all. If it was edited it needs them.Thats a poorly developed system. Why not only download the fonts that are used? Desperate for the offline editor.
New School Year starts next month, and it'd be nice to have it before to check it will work on our network.
Otherwise we will either have to move when we do Scratch to later in the year, or stick with Scratch 1.4 and not encourage students to work at home because of the difference in versions. Neither situation is ideal…

Nope. It should only need each one as it is edited. When you select a font that hasnt been loaded yet, it should get and cache that one then.Presumably it HAS to download them all.
