Hello Scratchers!I want to make a game involving the Chinese Zodiac. I also want to include how some personalities don't mix well in the Zodiac. I just don't really know how to develop this idea into a playable game…Any ideas?

I love Fruits Basket! You should watch it, it is really amazing! Every Zodiac already has a personality, so I would just work with those.

Perhaps it could just be a little story game if you know what I mean. Game but no gameplay, just plot. Dialogue is a majority. Lots of anime characters =3 But maybe you /can make it a breeding game where, well, you know how some zodiacs fit well with others? You could use that in your idea.

1.Rat – 鼠 (子) (Yang, 1st Trine, Fixed Element Water) I don't know. A shy person, doesn't like to get involved with things, is michievous (rats are very troublesome as they chew on whatever they can get their teeth on. They're very shy, too, and if you approach one they'll just run away.)
2.Ox – 牛 (丑) (Yin, 2nd Trine, Fixed Element Water) Possibly uhhh I don't know.
3.Tiger – 虎 (寅) (Yang, 3rd Trine, Fixed Element Wood) Someone very acrimonious in nature, like the kind of perseon who'll beat up anyone who makes them irritated
4.Rabbit – 兔 or 兎 (卯) (Yin, 4th Trine, Fixed Element Wood) Shy, like rat and also quiet. Is a goody-goody.
5.Dragon – 龍 / 龙 (辰) (Yang, 1st Trine, Fixed Element Wood) I don't know.
6.Snake – 蛇 (巳) (Yin, 2nd Trine, Fixed Element Fire) Someone sly and sneaky, always tries to get their way even if they get in trouble. (Snakes are very silent when it comes to stalking prey.)
7.Horse – 馬 / 马 (午) (Yang, 3rd Trine, Fixed Element Fire) Someone who does what they want to do, and if their freedom is taken away they'll do anything to get it back. (Horses… are just wild, y'know?)
8.Goat – 羊 (未) (Yin, 4th Trine, Fixed Element Fire) Goats. I don't know.
9.Monkey – 猴 (申) (Yang, 1st Trine, Fixed Element Metal) Crazy.

Hmm the Chinese Zodiac, It depends on if you want the characters to be actual people, or the animals. Maybe the people could turn into the animals? Possibly there could be a feud between certain disagreeing signs, that may be interesting. Like Cocks and Rabbits could be fighting… or any of the others. I think a Chinese Zodiac game is a really good idea actually.
