The wiiU is backwards compatible with the wii. The wii is backwards compatible with the gamecube. I think it's safe to say that the NX will be backwards compatible with the wiiU.

Anyways, I agree that the Wii U still has some life in it, though I'm not sure if it's going to be supported as long (or even longer) than the PS2. Heck, it might even do that.

Ya know, after seing how little they announced for E3, I suspect that they are gonna pour all their sturf into the NX preparations.

In case I ever get the game, which would you choose for splat zones:
The N-Zap ‘85 or the Dual Squelcher?
They both have splat bombs and the Echolocator. They also have the same damage rate.
I’d prefer the one that's faster at spreading its ink.
It seems like the N-Zap is faster at shooting and therefore would be better at spreading, but from my research it seems like it has a very low spread per shot, therefore giving more accuracy.
Meanwhile, the Dual Squelcher has the critical ability to go toe to toe with the .96 Gal and even the Squiffer and outrange the .52 Gal.

So which one is better to deal with enemies that get too close while make sure to keep the Zone locked in? (Note: The purpose of this set is to safeguard the zone and play support through the Echolocator.)

TBH, I'm really torn b/c the Dual Squelcher is cooler IMO but it seems like the N-Zap would be better at getting the job done…
