Sharing Your Games Privately
♤ One idea i've always wanted in scratch is for a way to share your game privately to a user on scratch. Sometimes, I want to share it to the whole world, and other times, just to my friends. Maybe there could be a button next to share, saying something like, " ♥Private Share?♥" And, when you press on that, it'll show a screen where you can type the username or something. If this could possibly make a change to scratch, I would be so happy. I could finally share something just to my friends, to make it special. Thank you everyone

That sounds like a good idea. I think that you should have an easy way to share projects to specific people. I am giving thhis suggestion support.

No support because the Scratch team cannot see it and you can easily email it to someone.

And this doesn't comply with Scratch's license. If you share a project, you have to share it with everybody. No support.

We depend very heavily on our community to help us keep an eye on things and make sure that the Community Guidelines are being followed. Reducing the number of people that can see a project increases the likelihood that inappropriate content could be shared without being reported. That's a risk that we are not willing to take. Keeping everything out in the open is the best way we have found to help keep Scratch friendly and safe.

Thank you for all the comments, I understand this can not be a change in Scratch, due to bullying and other negative situations. But, thank you for all responding! It really means a lot

Our position hasn't changed. But thanks for the suggestion - keep thinking of ways to make Scratch better!
